Lucky Lucky Lucky

I’m a lucky girl. On Thursday night I entered my Angel Story quilt into my local Spotlight store quilting competition. I got a phone call yesterday to say that I had won first prize. I went and collected my prize today. It was a lot bigger than I had imagined. I won a new Sewing bag, 30 fat quarters, cutting matt and cutter, thread, pin cushions, bag to store fat quarters in, teddy bear, quilting book, basting spray, needles and enough batting to make a queens size quilt.

Congrats on your win it's a lovely quilt ...I have just read about your dog George & his eating "habits"....I have a Jack Russell & he is the same the Vet says he has an eating disorder! he dosent stop. I had to get a lock for my pantry as he would help himself to the tupperware, hes very good at opening it...he ate a whole tin of alcoholic fudge one xmas...loves tin foil & tissues..... I lost a whole new pkt of pads one day out of the shopping bag they were later found under the bed each seperate pad opened & all the cotton wool piled up under the bed with him asleep in the middle of it...he once got up on a chair onto the kitchen benchtop where he then climbed over the dishes in the drainer & up to the window sill where I had put a block of cooking marg!!he was sick that time ...he also loves to eat my embroidery thread, the only food he doesnt like is prawns & lettuce I had to stop putting my veg in the stackers & keep it in the fridge as he ate the broccoli & capsicum !! still we love them & wouldnt be with out them..
